Supporting The Arts

Staging concerts costs more than we earn in ticket revenue, even with a full house. Venue, professional orchestra and soloists all have to be paid, and grant-funding for amateur arts groups is limited. The support that the Choir receives from its sponsors and 'Friends' enables it to maintain a high standard of live concerts. Sponsoring the Choir or booking advertisements in our concert programmes can be cost-effective publicity, reaching an audience of several thousand adults.
