Joining the Choir

If you would like to sing with the Thames Philharmonic Choir and…

  • experience the thrill of joining an ‘orchestra’ of voices

  • perform in London’s concert venues with professional orchestra
    and soloists

  • develop your voice and understanding of classical music with an accomplished choir director

  • hear your voice soar in the cathedrals of England

  • You can sing in tune and read music…

…please join us!

Like many professional musicians, Harry is involved with other choirs, but Thames Philharmonic is the only one which asks members to have a formal vocal assessment.

The vocal assessment lasts about 10 minutes, and involves a warm-up, exercises to explore the range and pitch of your voice to see how it fits in with the Choir, and a short prepared piece of your own choice.

Sight reading isn’t essential.

Rehearsals take place between  7.30pm and 9.45pm every Tuesday at:

Granard School

Westleigh Avenue, Putney, SW15 6XA
